We're a small team of collaborators who have come together to create kickass music. With more than 100 years of songwriting, producing, and performing experience between us, we think we've got what it takes. Without getting into all of the gory details, let us tell you a little bit about who we are. "Lonesome" Jon Kinyon is from the San Francisco Bay Area and has been writing and recording songs since the mid-1970s. His long-time collaborator Bobby "Blackout" Crail hails from Los Angeles and has been in the game just a little bit longer. The duo, known to some as "Bondo Brothers" have collaborated on many projects big and small. One highlight: Bobby Blackout wrote the score for a film Lonesome Jon wrote and directed in 2003. Newcomer, Frank "Genius" Gentry has recently joined the team as a co-producer, engineer, and marketing expert.
Our side gig is producing and co-writing with select artists we believe in, in order to help perfect their visions. We have also been known to create musical acts and procure musicians to produce songs we've written - much like the major labels do - and we have also ghost-written and/or sold songs to some well-known artists. XLRG and Bondo Brothers fully embrace the creative use of AI as a tool in songwriting and film. There's no stopping the future and we're not about to let it pass us by. We have no intention of sleeping in the bushes underneath the bridge downtown.
